Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2025
By using Ecqo (the Chrome extension and associated website at ecqo.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Ecqo.
1. The service
Ecqo is a Chrome browser extension that provides workspace management, email triage, and to-do list features. Access is granted via a personal license key linked to a paid subscription.
2. Subscription plans
Ecqo Basic — $6/month: Up to 2 saved workspaces, email triage panel, desktop email notifications, 5-day free trial.
Ecqo Pro — $8.99/month: Unlimited workspaces, email triage panel, desktop notifications, full to-do list with email reports, priority support, 5-day free trial.
3. Free trial
Both plans include a 5-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial and will not be charged. After the trial, the applicable monthly fee is charged automatically.
4. Billing and payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record. By subscribing you agree to Paddle's terms of service. All prices are in USD and exclude any applicable local taxes (handled by Paddle).
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
6. Refund policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are unsatisfied for any reason within 14 days of your purchase, contact us at luminodelimited@gmail.com for a full refund, no questions asked. See our Refund Policy for full details.
7. License key
- Your license key is for personal use only — one key per user, on one browser profile.
- You must not share, sell, sublicense, or transfer your key to another person.
- If we detect key sharing or misuse, we reserve the right to revoke the key without a refund.
- You may regenerate your key at any time from your dashboard. Your old key will become invalid immediately.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension
- Use the extension in any way that violates Google's Chrome Web Store policies
- Use the extension to access Gmail accounts you do not own or have explicit permission to access
- Attempt to circumvent the license validation system
9. Intellectual property
All rights in Ecqo, including the extension, website, and brand, are owned by Luminode Limited. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Ecqo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with all systems, or that the extension will meet your specific requirements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Luminode Limited's liability for any claim arising out of or related to Ecqo is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
